How Do you Know God Exists?

This was the question presented to me by my oldest a week or so ago? I was a little shocked to say the least. We talk about God and Jesus on a regular daily basis in this house. We surround our children with godly people, we have taken them to church and the extra classes that she attends as part of our homeschool curriculum are taught by godly women who talk about God in class and attended by churchgoing Christian children. So where did this question come from, but more importantly how do I answer in such a way that she will believe wholeheartedly what I am saying. What I say or don't say right now will make a huge impact on her faith or lack of faith. Nothing like being put on the spot. Since this is not a question that I ever had myself I had to think, say a very quick prayer and this is what I told her. When I was a small child one Sunday morning my Grandaddy took me to a special spot on the creek deep in the woods while my Grandmother faithfully went to church. As we were sitting on huge boulders overlooking the running water waiting to see if a deer would come to drink I asked my Grandaddy why he didn't go to church. He told me that God was with us on that creek bank more than He was in that church building. I won't go into the goings on that he was talking about at the church because he didn't at the time. He said be still and quiet and you will hear the workings of God and see the workings of God and know that He is here. I did, as still and quiet as a 6 year old could be. He then said when you hear the birds sing it is God who has given them song. When you see the water rushing it is God who put the water there to begin with. When you hear and feel the wind rustling through the leaves on the trees it is the breath of God surrounding you. None of this is possible without Him and it exists so that you know He is always here wherever you are whether or not you think you need Him. When I was much older, I went through some tough times. I thought my family had abandoned me and essentially part of them had. I changed colleges and the college that I was going to was close to my grandparents and so in order to save money I lived with them. My grandmother was not a nice woman and didn't approve of my work schedule and so she threw me out of the house. Without going into details I wound up living in my car and sleeping many nights in an empty horse stall on a horse blanket at the barn that I worked at. I stopped all contact with everyone because I was angry and hurt. I became a ghost for a little while at least. For 7 months I spent my days simply trying to survive. I got paid by the barn basically on commission so I made very little. My grandmother had called my real job so many times that I had lost that job. I couldn't afford school so I stopped going once the quarter ended. The other trainer at the barn was stealing from me and since I would lose my job if the owner found out I was sleeping there I could say nothing. I didn't want to go on like that but I didn't know what to do. But God knew what to do. He forced the connection back with my family. To make a long story short I was arrested and when I called a friend to help me, he called my Dad who just happened to be in town (trying to find me). My Dad came and got me and after my court date (all charges dismissed) took me home to my Mama. My life got back on track and I realized that the whole time I was in the wind they were trying to find me. I realized how many people were worried about me and trying to find me. Some people I had only met one time, but God made them remember and they prayed for my well being. Had God not intervened and forced me to stay put where someone could come and get me I don't know what would have happened to me. There have been many times that God has been there between now and then but remember last summer when we were low on meat and I was worried because we were low on money too. I kept saying everytime I opened the freezer that we weren't going to make it to deer season. But everytime I opened the freezer there was meat. Each time I would count the packages and we would have maybe 6 or 7 meals left, but the meat was always there. Someway, somehow we never completely ran out. We didn't have an abundance but it was there and after months of this deer season came and the rabbits started producing again and the pigs were ready to process. We made it with meat to sustain us only by the grace of God because I don't know how those 6 or 7 packages lasted us for months on end. But I do know the meat was always there and it never ran completely out. Then there was the time that you were little and remember when I went crazy. I was sick and the doctors were telling me I wasn't. I wanted to die. I couldn't function anymore and everything in my life was draining because I was drained to begin with. I thought about ending my life several times during that period. But each and every day God gave me the courage to keep going and then to change things so that I could get well again. I didn't have that courage. I wanted to die, but each time I was going to do something to stop all the pain and exhaustion something stopped me. I can only say that something was God because no one else knew the struggle that I was going through. Even now, I struggle with pain and exhaustion but I run a farm. I do more than many able bodied men are able to do, but I am never crippled by my infirmities. Each and every day God gives me the strength to do what I need to do and as a result we are blessed with an abundance of food. I never thought I would be able to homeschool, it just isn't in my personality but here we are. We have a close tight and loving family in a world that doesn't see family as important and most parents are divorced. I can only say all of this is because of God's blessings because I have been in the world and it is not a friendly place. I have been abandoned, turned on and hated by friends and family members many times. But each and every time I knew that God had to be with me because I managed to get through it and overcome it. I never could have done that on my own, I simply don't have that sort of courage. Whenever things is my life are just completely impossible, God makes something possible. It might not be exactly the way that I envisioned it or even wanted it but God makes things possible in an impossible world. In fact this has happened so many times in my life that I simply don't question anymore because I don't have the foresight that He has. I know in the end it will work out no matter how impossible it may seem. We live on this farm even though our move here was impossible. It seemed impossible when Daddy was out of work for us to keep going, or even to keep living here. But we did and we had the courage to simply have faith and face each and every day as it came. The impossible worked out to be possible and that only happens because of the grace and goodness of God. Humans simply don't have that kind of power. And so that is what I told her. I couldn't have made it this far in life without the grace of God so He has to exist because I couldn't and can't do it alone. Many blessings to you all, Kat

I felt my response would be too lengthy to post in the comment section under the post Halloween? Really? so I will post the comment and post here so that everyone can understand.

"Actually, that's not true. Halloween is falsely attributed to the Druids. It's actually an old world, pre-christianity celebration of the new year. In the 900s the catholic church completed for followers and redubbed November first as All Saints Day, making Oct 31 All Hallows Eve, Hallow meaning holy. Priests would go door to door asking for cake and prayers. Kind of a medieval mission to spread the word of God. It is said that if a house refused the occupants were threatened or curse. I am not sure if this is true. The only information I have read about the Druid involvement in Halloween is from Christain sources, not historical unbiased ones. I think many holidays and observances have changed through the centuries, even Christmas was once a winter solstace festival that slowly grew to become christmas as the popularity of Christianity grew across Europe. Tracy, first I would like to address that you think I am judging. I am certainly not judging anyone who has or will participate in this particular festival. What I am doing is judging the festival and the dark meaning behind it. I also wanted to make it clear in my post that stepping away from the things of this world is not an easy task. This so that others who are in the same place in their journey can understand that they are not alone. What feast and celebrations one chooses to celebrate is a personal matter that exists between them and God. However, it is nice to know sometimes that you are not alone and you are not crazy and you are not a fanatic. That was my purpose.

Now, I would like to address the history lesson behind this festival and upon whose authority I have relied upon. The druids and wicca do pre-date Christianity, so I am not sure where you find fault with that. However, it was not a celebration of the new year. That celebration was December 25th, the birthdate of Tamuz the son-husband of the goddess Ishtar, which dates back to Babylonian times. But that is a "whole nother can of worms" that I won't get into here. Yes, the church renamed and tried to "Christianize" a pagan religion. That is no surprise since they did the same with christmas (pagan winter solstice festival honoring the birth of Tamuz the son of the son god Baal) and easter (worship of the goddess Ishtar/Astarte, the goddess of fertility). Just because the church does something doesn't mean that it is ok with God.

Jeremiah 10:1,2 Hear ye the word which the Lord speaketh unto you, O house of Israel: Thus saith the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.

Deut 12:29: When the LORD thy God shall cut off the nations from before thee, whither thou goest to possess them, and thou succeedest them, and dwellest in their land;
30: Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou inquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise.

Now as to the sources of the history. Yes, most of them are Christian and since you feel they are biased I will not even give them here. However, Pastor David J. Meyer of Last Trumpet Ministries, I consider an authority on the matter. You see he was not always a Christian, in fact he comes from a long line of witches. He himself was quite a strong witch and astrologer. This history of halloween was his history, his family's history. They lived it in our modern world. So please take the time to read his articles on halloween/samhain...here and here.

Tracy, you say that many holidays and observances have changed over the years. I agree that in man's eye they have and certainly no longer have the meaning that they once did. However, it is not man's view that I am concerned with. For my family, it is God's view and His opinion of these things remains constant. While most view halloween as just a time to have some fun and dress up, there are darker forces at work whether one participates or not. Otherwise, Anton Lavey the author of the satanic bible would not have written that halloween was satanists second most important holiday.

Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Romans 13:11-14 ...now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.

1 Thess. 5:5-8 You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. Halloween? Really?

I grew up in the Christian church and I also grew up trick or treating each Halloween until I was old enough that it was acceptable anymore. No one ever question whether or not this bit of "fun" should be something that Christians take part in. Several years ago when I started to question many things that the traditional church said was ok, I came across the true story of halloween. I was appalled and disgusted. That first year of my discovery I tried weakly to find ways out of the holiday, but my attempt was to no avail and I caved under the pressure from family and friends. Last year I stood my ground and we did not participate nor will we participate this year. Let's look at the facts of Halloween and then a short video that describes many of them.
1. Halloween was originally Samhain, the time of the year when the veil between the spirit world and this world is thin, allowing the dead to once again walk among us. It is also the time considered by witches to be the most powerful time of year.
2. Villagers would wear "costumes" on All Hallow's Eve because it confused the dead and caused them to leave them alone.
3. As evening approached, Druid priests would carry sickles and celtic crosses and drag a dead slave through the village. They approached each house saying "Trick or treat". The house must give them a girl or woman and if they refused then blood was taken from the dead slave and a hexagram drawn on the house while the druids invoked the "horned hunter of the night" to kill someone in the house. If the house relinquished the "treat" then a jack-o-lantern was placed at the door of the house.
4. The girls given to the Druid priests were later taken into a field raped and murdered and thrown onto bonefires (modern day bonfires) as a sacrifice to their god, the horned hunter of the night.
5. During later times, the villagers would put a carved jack-o-lantern at their door lit with a candle made of human tallow to keep the Druid priests from stopping at their door.
6. The Druids also played games that we are familiar with like bobbing for apples. The apple is sacred to witches and paganists because when you cut it crosswise it reveals a pentagram in the center.

Dressing up in costumes to parade through the streets, demanding treats from each house, jack-o-lanterns, skulls, devils, and pagan rituals....hasn't changed much over time has it.

And then the one thing we hear the most from the Christian community as they bring this abomination into the house of the Lord our God, Jehovah...that's not what it means to me!

However, as Christians we must look further than ourselves and our fleshly desires. We must ask...What does this mean to God?

Let's find out:
Leviticus 19:31 - "Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the Lord your God."

Isaiah 29:1-16 - God's judgment fell upon Jerusalem because of witchcraft.

Deut. 18:10-14, “There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices witchcraft, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, 11or one who casts a spell, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. 12“For whoever does these things is detestable to the Lord; and because of these detestable things the Lord your God will drive them out before you. 13“You shall be blameless before the Lord your God. 14“For those nations, which you shall dispossess, listen to those who practice witchcraft and to diviners, but as for you, the Lord your God has not allowed you to do so.

2 Kings 21:6, "And he made his son pass through the fire, practiced witchcraft and used divination, and dealt with mediums and spiritists. He did much evil in the sight of the Lord provoking Him to anger." (see also 2 Chron. 33:6)

Isaiah 47:12-14, “Stand fast now in your spells and in your many sorceries with which you have labored from your youth; Perhaps you will be able to profit, perhaps you may cause trembling. 13You are wearied with your many counsels;
Let now the astrologers, those who prophesy by the stars, those who predict by the new moons, stand up and save you from what will come upon you. 14“Behold, they have become like stubble, fire burns them; they cannot deliver themselves from the power of the flame; there will be no coal to warm by, nor a fire to sit before!"

Lev. 20:6, ‘As for the person who turns to mediums and to spiritists, to play the harlot after them, I will also set My face against that person and will cut him off from among his people."

So what we should be asking ourselves as Christians is not how we view what is of this world, but how God views the things of this world and would this particular bit of "fun" be seen as harmless and innocent in His eyes. How would He view us as parents, commissioned to train up a child in the way they should go, training up His children to follow in the ways of darkness instead of light? I don't think He would view it as harmless. As for me and mine, we will bake cookies and sing songs in praise of God that night. Blessings from the farm.

Evenings with Victoria Botkin

I just discovered that Victoria Botkin is having a women's talk online. For those who don't know the Botkin family, they are truly amazing, inspiring, and definitely inspirational. Their daughters have grown into wonderful young Christian women, seeking to please the Lord in their lives. My oldest daughter and I are reading their book, "So Much More", together now. It was written by the Botkin sisters several years ago when they were teens and written for young teen girls. However, I have found that it is something the whole family can get something out of. There is a registration fee for Victoria's sessions, but I feel that the cost is reasonable and the information invaluable. I know as a mother struggling to raise my daughters to serve the Lord in a world that seems to hate our Lord and Savior I need all the help, advise, and encouragement I can get. Victoria Botkin has been there, done that, and succeeded. There are also some very great articles available online at the website. What is Biblical Agrarianism

The other day I was talking to someone about the move back to Biblical Agrarianism that is taking place among Christians across the country. They didn't understand what I was talking about because today when most people think of farming they think of the vast commercial farms across the country. Their response was oh you can't possible farm for a living. Well, no not right now and maybe not ever. That is not our purpose nor our goal. What is Biblical agrarianism? It is a return to the order and plan of God. You see when God placed Adam in the garden of Eden, Adam was to keep and dress the garden. After the fall Adam was sent forth from the garden to "till the ground from whence he was taken". So God's order was for Adam and his descendants to be tiller's of the ground, or simply farmers. Why? Was it to make billions of dollars and ship food all around the world? No, it was to provide for their own needs, work with their own hands and by the sweat of their own brow. This was the beginning of God's order and God's order continued through agrarian ventures from there. Living according to God's order calls us to be seperate from the idustrialist, consumer driven world. So those of us in this move towards a more Biblically ordered life are stepping outside of society, outside of mainstream, and outside of man's traditions. We are going back to the order of God. In understanding that we are the descendants of the House of Israel, we see throughout history how the tribes kept to the agrarian life up until the past couple of hundred years. We do get quite a bit of criticism and skepticism, which is to be expected from those who don't understand and are still totally dependant on the industrialist consumer life. However, we have the peace and the happiness to keep us going when the world ridicules and mocks. Like the homesteaders and farmers of old we are planting seeds for future generations, giving something to the future rather than the traditional idea of living in the now off of the future generations. What modern industrialism has done is to steal the future of the children and grandchildren. Biblical agrarianism is giving something back. Jesus Christ taught us that we are to be in the world, but not of the world and those following the order of God are doing just that. May God bless you in your journey.

Lent

We are now in the season of Lent. It actually started this past Wednesday. It is the remembrance of the 40 days that Christ spent in the wilderness. It is a time usually of self sacrifice, penitance, and a renewal of our commitment to God. Catholics usually forgo all meat except fish for the 40 days of Lent. We Episcopalians are allowed to choose how we spend Lent. Some of us give something up and some of us don't. One of my big vices is not drinking enough water. I drink a lot of sweet tea during the day. So, I have given up sweet tea and will be drinking water instead. Lent is not just a time for us to sacrifice, it is also a time to reflect on our relationship with our Savior, Jesus Christ. Are we as close as we should be? Am I living according to His example? Just a couple things to ask ourselves. Sometimes Lent is a good time to start a habit, such as daily Bible reading. Getting up a few minutes early can give us some quiet time for reflection and growth in our personal spriritual walk with God. So reflect this Lenten season on the sacrifices made for you and where you can grow in your walk with God. Whether this growth comes from sacrificing something you love, or giving some extra time to be with God that is up to you individually. We all need to grow in different ways and in different areas of our life. The importance of Lent comes from knowing that growth is still needed and learning is not yet finished. May God bless you in your journey today and may this Lenten season bring you closer to our Savior.

Will True Israel Please Stand Up?

I am so tired of the lies and deceptions. Christians in America have become Zionists and they don't even know what it is that they support. When a Christian proclaims to support the state of Israel in today's world they think they are supporting the true tribes of Israel of the Bible. What they are really supporting is a communist regime committed to the genocide of the nations around them. And don't think they will stop there folks, if they are allowed to continue, then the rest of us are fair game also. We in fact, here in America have already been infiltrated long ago. So getting to the gyst of my post, who are the true tribes of Israel and where are they? I asked people yesterday if they had any idea who they were. I was talking about Christians and the Christian nations around the world. Do you truly know who you are? Or do you believe what you have been told by those who have stolen your identity? Let me explain our heritage a little bit. It will take awhile, but worth the read. So here goes:

Where and Who are the Tribes of Israel
Until God changed Jacob's name to Israel, there was no Israel. (Gen 32:28) Jacob had 12 sons and through the course of time they divided into two kingdoms.
The Southern Kingdom was made up of the tribes of Judah and Benjamin, but were called Judah with their capitol at Jerusalem. Most of this tribe were taken into captivity by the Babylonians. This was the time of Nebuchadnezzar and Daniel. This was also the time when the tribe was corrupted by the gentiles/heathens such as the Khazars (Edomites). More on this later.
The Northern Kingdom were made up of the other 10 tribes. They were called Israel and their capitol was at Samaria. Because of Idolatry God placed them into captivity with Assyria. I Kings Chapters 11-14 are talking about this. Then in Deut 32:26 God describes how he will scatter them, talking about Israel, to the corners and make them forget who they are and all remembrance of them be lost. In other words God took Israel, let Assyria conquer them, then he scattered them all over the world and made them and everyone else forget who they are and were. So where were they scattered?
They were scattered all across Europe. Italy, Scandinavia (the Vikings), the British Isles (the Celts and the Gauls), the area of today's Germany (Britains and Saxons), today's Denmark (the Angles), today's France (the Normans). That is where they went. And so who populated America? The lost 10 tribes of Israel. We are the lost tribes of Israel, we are God's chosen. Not those who call themselves Jews, but aren't. There are very very few legitimate descendants of the tribe of Judah in the Holy Land today and the rest of us have a new name, Christians, and have been forgotten for thousands of years. Here are the verses that speak of this:
Rom 11:25, Rom 9:27, Is 62:2, Is 62:12, Is 65:15, Jer 33:16, Acts 11:26, James 1:1, 1 Pet 1:1-2. They are all speaking of or to the 10 lost tribes, us, Christians.
Now if you are of Scottish or Irish descent there is more to the story. Lets go back to the Southern Kingdom, the tribe of Judah. Gen 49:8-12 designates the tribe of Judah to be the royal tribe. This is the tribe that Jesus Christ descends from. Is 65:9 Says that God will bring out of this tribe an inheritor of His mountains and His elect shall dwell there. Jer 33:16-26 speaks about the two chosen houses of God. Gen Chapter 38 is the beginning of this journey. i have copied and pasted the story along with the documentation for accuracy sake.
It all started when a very grand lady by the name of Tamar had twin boys by her father-in-law (permissible under Old Testament Hebrew Law {Gen 38:24-27}). A lot of people judge Tamar as a woman with a low moral reputation. This is because they don't know all the details of this complicated story. In the birthing process, it appeared that the one twin (Zerah) was going to be born first as he put out his hand. The midwife put a scarlet thread around his hand to mark the firstborn child. To the midwife''s amazement, the other twin (Pharez) proceeded to come out first. It was always of the utmost importance to identify the firstborn in the case of twins, for the firstborn received the birthright. Today, both the Irish and Scots claim the emblem of the hand with the scarlet thread (or the red hand), showing they are of the Zerah branch of Judah. To bring you this 3,500 year old history, we will be quoting from various authors who have written various phases of this history.
If you will remember, Judah was to be the royal tribe as shown in the below Scripture {Gen 49:9-12}.
Gen 49:9-129 Judah is a lion's whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up?10 The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.11 Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ass's colt unto the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes:12 His eyes shall be red with wine, and his teeth white with milk. (KJV)
With this passage, we can already see more symbology of Judah appearing. To get started with this almost forgotten history of the Irish (as being Zerah Judah), we will quote from Father Abraham's Children, by Perry Edward Powell, Ph. D., pages 98-101;
"Let us put it in a different way, here is the beginning of royalty. What else does scepter mean? Judah led in the conquest of Canaan and received the first and choicest portion. David raised it to pre-eminence over the tribes and the nations. He is the first king of the Judah-Pharez line, and he did not appear for seven hundred years. Was there and is there an older line of royalty? The answer is, Yes. The Judah-Zerah [line] was royal from the beginning. The two royalties are now merged and have been for centuries in the British royal house. And how long shall we have royalty? ''Until Shiloh comes.'' [The future] Shiloh came to Bethlehem, the first Advent, and will come again [as Shiloh] at the end of time, the second Advent. Royalty is eternal. The throne of David is everlasting. There is no royalty in Europe but descends from Judah. And the Judah-Zerah royalty is, we repeat, seven hundred years older than Judah-Pharez because it began at once. You can read Genesis 38 to see how royalty began [but there is much more to talk about].
Another great event is recorded in Genesis 46:12, [if we dare mention it]. Here we can read the census of those of the family of Jacob who went with him into Egypt, eventually into Egyptian bondage though they did not know it at the time. Pharez took with him his two sons, (which did not include Shelah). Now Zerah went alone. No son accompanied him. We will see where the son later traveled. Here is the inference and the conclusion, The Trojan-Welsh by-passed the Egyptian captivity, and all other captivities and have never been in slavery to any man, in any land, at any time. (Slight changes or additions in brackets above)
Zerah's son Ethan, very wise, and indeed this line of Judah-Zerah is the only royal line termed wise, on the other hand led his people north, from Egypt where he was born, into what is now Asia Minor, and his son Mahol continued likewise. Mahol's heir, Darda, reached the western shore, where on a commanding site, he founded the metropolis of Troy. The date is 1520 B.C. Here the city flourished for nearly four hundred years. Darda first saw the straits that separated Europe and Asia and gave them his name, Dardanelles. Darda also founded a fort here that is named after him. But the greatest honor is recorded in the Bible: "And Solomon's wisdom excelled the wisdom of all...For he was wiser than all men...Darda, the sons of Mahol" {1st Kings 4:30-31}. Thus great was the founder of Troy and the sire of the Trojan race whose children abide with us still. Troy fell because her sons had an eye for the refined and beautiful in woman (sic). Her descendants have that exquisite eye still and are naturally very proud of the accomplishment. ..." And Solomon's wisdom excelled the wisdom of all...For he was wiser than all men...Darda, the sons of Mahol" {1st Kings 4:30-31}When Troy fell she did so to arise on another shore in eternal and imperial splendor. We are not referring to Italy. That empire though long was ephemeral (short-lived). Italy is an interlude only. Aeneas, a member of the old royal family, attained the kingship, led the saddened Trojans around the Mediterranean Sea, as graphically described in the Aenead, and finally brought them to their new home on the Tiber in Italy. Including this Italian interlude, the Trojan period embraced 417 years.
Here on the Tiber happened a very sad event, too sad to be recalled, and would not be except for its denouement (final outcome). Brutus was one day hunting with his father Silvius, when he spied the prey, as he thought, and let fly an arrow. On running up he was shocked and grieved to find that he had killed his own father! Some people then, as now, were censorious and Brutus departed from the new colony, from which later sprang Rome, and with his royal followers, went to Greece, rallied the enslaved Trojans, defeated King Pendrasus, thus erasing the defeat of Troy, and as victor exacted these terms; he must give his daughter Ignoge for wife, furnish a big fleet of ships fully provisioned, for his emigrant force of seven thousand men, and free permission for them to sail unmolested. ...
Brutus, now with an object and direction, steered west through the straits (pillars) of Hercules, then northward along the east Atlantic main, across the English Channel to the present river Dart, and up its stream to Totnes where stepping on a large stone he landed on the great island which was ever to bear his name as a memorial among the proud nations of the world. This rock, more famous throughout the centuries than Plymouth Rock, is marked as Brutus Rock, and has been visited perennially by people of all nations, all ranks, and all ages. With his people he explored the whole island and he apportioned to each one according to his rank and services. At last he decided the proper place for his capital, a choice bank of the Thames river, so named for a stream, Thyamis, in Epirus from which he first sailed, and there he built his metropolis, and according to the advice of the oracle, he named it Tri Novantum, New Troy. This name it bore for over eleven hundred years when King Lud at the beginning of the Christian era built her walls and renamed her Luddun, Lud''s wall, easily refined into London. London is also derived by some from Llandin, meaning ''Sacred eminence.'' London dates from three hundred-fifty years before Rome. Why should Rome be called the Eternal City?"
If you are of Irish or Scottish descent, this history, as told here, may seem strange and wonderfully astonishing. We are sure many of you have never heard anything quite like this, or were never taught anything remotely comparable in school. We really shouldn't take the word of one writer concerning this history though. In the booklet, Our Neglected Heritage, "The Magnet of The Isles", by Gladys Taylor, vol. 3, page 27 we read this:
"The Reverend William Milner, in his chart of The Royal House of Britain, gives the two grandsons of Judah, Calcol and Darda, as Cecrops and Dardanos. The more we study the classical references to these founders of cities, dynasties and legal systems, the more they appear to resemble Calcol and Darda, who were the children of Zarah, a migrating section of the family of Judah, the sceptre tribe. Were the grandsons of Judah beginning to put into effect the responsibilities of their tribe as kings and administrators? ...
After the fall of Troy, the royal house of Dardanos was divided and scattered. Caesar claimed descent from Aeneas and Virgil wrote the Aeneid to proclaim this fact. From Ascanius Julius, son of Aeneas and Creusa, daughter of Priam King of Troy, came the Julian family of Rome and also Brutus the Trojan, grandson of Ascanius, who gathered together a band of Trojan exiles, soon after the fall of Troy and traveled westward to Britain. This could have been a considerable migration. From a wealth of Greek and Latin literature dealing with the departure of the Trojans, notably the Trojan Cycle, listed by Proclus in the second century A.D., we gather that Aeneas departed from Mount Ida with 88,000 Trojans and built a fleet of 332 vessels. We leave Aeneas in Italy and follow Brutus and his companions to Britain."
What this information is telling you is, if you are Irish you are directly related to the Trojans, or if you are Scottish, you are indirectly related, and both the Irish and Scottish are direct descendants of Judah, or Israelites.
So if you are of Irish or Scottish descent then you are also descended from the royal tribe of Judah as well as one of the lost 10 tribes of the northern kingdom. Now I know you are asking why doesn't anyone talk about this. God has recently (within the past 60 years) or so begun to take away the veil of forgetfulness. To me this is proof that the books of Daniel and Revelation have been opened and that these are indeed the last days before Jesus Christ's return. The International Judaics have worked diligently to hide this and call it a lie, and most people believe what they are told instead of researching for themselves. Just like most Christians believe that Eve ate an apple they believe that they are just heathen peoples that should bow to the International Judaics as the founders of our faith.
One more thing to make clear. The word Jew can mean two things, 1. someone born to the tribe of Judah or 2. someone who has adopted the religion of Judaism. It is wrong to call Jesus Christ a Jew in the religious sense of the word. He was a Jew by bloodline and birth of the tribe of Judah, the royal tribe of God. He had nothing to do with the Jewish religion. This is the meaning of Rev 3:9. Those that call themselves Jews are not of the bloodline of Judah, but instead have adopted the religion of Judaism based on the religion of Cain the son of satan.

Please I am, pleading with Christian America, learn the Truth, stand for the Truth, and get rid of the lies. It is time to purge America of the false prophets that have invaded and to reclaim the identity that has been stolen!

(my comments in red) What has happened to the church? We stand by and let a country "claiming" to be God's Chosen people annihilate a people. How disgusting is that? Where are the warriors of God? Those who stand for Truth and Righteousness? They have been bought and sold so many times by identity thieves they no longer know who they are or what they stand for. Today my challenge is to all Christians, but mostly those of us here is America. Get your heads out of the sand, for evil is out and about. Take up your sword in one hand and your Bible in the other. Become the warrior of God that you proclaim to be. Stand for the Truth, because the Truth will set you free. If you play in the dark shadows with the big boys, you will in the end get burned. May those who have eyes see and ears hear. I for one stand for the tribes of Judah and Ephraim and proclaim that I will stand for the truth. Will you? Do you even know who you are?

The title of my article comes from the sermon of the Episcopal Bishop of Washington DC, John Bryson Chane, delivered on October 5, 2008, at St. Columba Church. The bishop’s eyes were opened to Israel’s persecution of Palestinians by his recent trip to Palestine. In his sermon he called on “politicians seeking the highest office in [our] land” to find the courage to “speak out and condemn violations of human rights and religious freedom denied to Palestinian Christians and Muslims” by the state of Israel.
Bishop Chane’s courage was to no avail. When America’s new leader of “change” was informed of Israel’s massive air attack on the Gaza Ghetto, an area of 139 square miles where Israel confines 1.4 million Arabs and tightly controls the inflow of all resources–food, medicine, water, energy–America’s president-elect Obama had “no comment.”
According to the Jerusalem Post ( December 26), “at 11:30 a.m., more than 50 fighter jets and attack helicopters swept into Gazan airspace and dropped more than 100 bombs on 50 targets. . . . Thirty minutes later, a second wave of 60 jets and helicopters struck at 60 targets . . . More than 170 targets were hit by IAF aircraft throughout the day. At least 230 Gazans were killed and over 780 were wounded . . .”
As I write, news reports are that Israel is sending tanks and infantry reinforcements in preparation for a ground invasion of Gaza.
Israel’s excuse for its violence is that from time to time the Palestinian resistance organization, Hamas, fires off rockets into Israel to protest the ghetto life that Israel imposes on Gazans. The rockets are ineffectual for the most part and seldom claim Israeli casualties. However, the real purpose for the Israeli attack is to destroy Hamas.
In 2006 the US insisted that the Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank hold free elections. When free elections were held, Hamas won. This was unacceptable to the Americans and Israelis. In the West Bank, the Americans and Israelis imposed a puppet government, but Hamas held on in Gaza. After unheeded warnings to the Gazans to rid themselves of Hamas and accept a puppet government, Israel has decided to destroy the freely elected government with violence.
Ehud Barak, who is overseeing the latest act of Israeli aggression, said in interviews addressed to the British and American publics that asking Israel to agree to a ceasefire with Hamas would be like asking the US to agree to a ceasefire with al Qaeda. The terrorism that Israel inflicts on Palestinians goes unremarked.
According to the London Times (December 28), “Britain and the United States were on a collision course with their European allies last night after refusing to call for an end to Israeli airstrikes on Hamas targets in Gaza. The wave of attacks marked a violent end to President George W. Bush’s sporadic Middle East peace efforts. The White House put the blame squarely on Hamas.” The British government also blamed Hamas.

For the US and UK governments, Israel can do no wrong. Israel doesn’t have to stop withholding food, medicine, water, and energy, but Hamas must stop protesting by firing off rockets. In violation of international law, Israel can drive West Bank Palestinians off their lands and out of their villages and give the stolen properties to “settlers.” Israel can delay Palestinians in need of emergency medical care at checkpoints until their lives ebb away. Israeli snipers can get their jollies murdering Palestinian children.
The Great Moral Anglo-Americans couldn’t care less.
In his 2005 Nobel Lecture, British playwright Harold Pinter held the United States and its British puppet state accountable for “the systematic brutality, the widespread atrocities, the ruthless suppression of independent thought.” Everyone knows that such crimes occurred in the Soviet Union and in its East European empire, but “US crimes in the same period have only been superficially recorded, let alone documented, let alone acknowledged, let alone recognized as crimes at all,” this despite the fact that “the United States’ actions throughout the world made it clear that it had concluded it had carte blanche to do what it liked.”
Soviet crimes, like Nazi ones, are documented in gruesome detail, but America’s crimes “never happened. Nothing ever happened. Even while it was happening it wasn’t happening. It didn’t matter. It was of no interest. The crimes of the United States have been systematic, constant, vicious, remorseless, but very few people have actually talked about them You have to hand it to America. It has exercised a clinical manipulation of power worldwide while masquerading as a force for universal good. It’s a brilliant, even witty, highly successful act of hypnosis.”
America’s is “a scintillating stratagem. Language is actually employed to keep thought at bay. The words ‘the American people’ provide a truly voluptuous cushion of reassurance. You don’t need to think.”
Pinter presents a long list of American crimes and comes to Iraq: “The invasion of Iraq was a bandit act, an act of blatant state terrorism, demonstrating absolute contempt for the concept of international law. The invasion was . . . an act intended to consolidate American military and economic control of the Middle East masquerading–as a last resort–all other justifications having failed to justify themselves–as liberation.” Americans and their British puppets “have brought torture, cluster bombs, depleted uranium, innumerable acts of random murder, misery, degradation and death to the Iraqi people and call it ‘bringing freedom and democracy to the Middle East.”
“How many people do you have to kill before you qualify to be described as a mass murderer and a war criminal?” Pinter’s question can also be asked of Israel. Israel has been in violation of international law since 1967, protected by the United States’ veto of UN Resolutions condemning Israel for its violent, inhumane, barbaric, and illegal acts.
American evangelical Christians, who are degenerating into Zionists, are Israel’s greatest allies. Jesus is forsaken as Christians swallow whole the Israeli lies. A couple of years ago the US Presbyterian Church was so distressed by Israel’s immorality toward Palestinians that the church attempted to disinvest its investment portfolio from assets tainted with Israel. But the Israel Lobby was stronger. The Presbyterian Church was unable to stand up for Christian principles and knuckled under to the Israel Lobby’s pressure.
This is hardly surprising considering that the US government doesn’t stand for Christian principles either.
America’s doctrine of “full spectrum dominance” means that, like Lenin’s dictatorship, America is not bound by law or morality, but by power alone.
Pinter sums it up in a speech he had dreams of writing for President George W. Bush:
“God is good. God is great. God is good. My God is good. Bin Laden’s God is bad. His is a bad God. Saddam’s God was bad, except he didn’t have one. He was a barbarian. We are not barbarians. We don’t chop people’s heads off. We believe in freedom. So does God. I am not a barbarian. I am the democratically elected leader of a freedom-loving democracy. We are a compassionate society. We give compassionate electrocution and compassionate lethal injection. We are a great nation. I am not a dictator. He is. I am not a barbarian. He is. And he is. They all are. I possess moral authority. You see this fist? This is my moral authority. And don’t you forget it.”
If only our ears could hear, this is the speech we have been hearing from Israel for 60 years.

History of the False Rapture Doctrine

Today I want to take a look at the false rapture doctrine being taught in the churches today. In this first post I would like to look at the history of this relatively new teaching. This teaching began in the 1830s and prior to that time had not been taught in the churches. This doctrine originated with a mentally ill young woman named Margaret McDonald in Glasgow Scotland. She had a series of visions in which it was prtrayed that the church would be whisked away. Twp priests learned of these visions and coined them as their own. Thus the rapture doctrine was born. This doctrine teaches that the church will be whisked away from the earth before the tribulation of the end times. It is not biblically sound and the scriptures are twisted and taken out of context. Ms. McDonald said herself that her visions of this doctrine felt wrong:


"I felt this needed to be revealed, and that there was great darkness and error about it; but suddenly what it was burst upon me with a glorious light."

It seems people love this doctrine and much money has been made from these falsehoods. There are more books in Christian bookstores teaching these books than there anything else. Why do people fall for and love this doctrine? Because it is what they want to hear. They don't want to hear that they may have to go thru some difficult times and actually make a stand for Christ. That is work and the current generations are lazy and don't want to work. The rapture doctrine is the easy way out, we don't have to make a stand because Christ will wisk us away in the nick of time. The rapture doctrine is the cowards way out. We have two warnings by God against these sorts of doctrines an knowing the history of this rapture doctrine it amazes me at how well they fit exactly. Let's look.

Ez.13:17 Likewise, thou son of man, set they face against the daughters of they people, which prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy thou against them. (KJV)
Ez 13:20 Wherefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms, and I will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make them fly. (KJV)

Is it coincidence that God warns us of doctrines to make our souls fly and that is exactly what the rapture doctrine teaches, that we will fly away. No this doctrine is a false feel good doctrine. However as we will see in future posts it is a very dangerous doctrine indeed. May God bless you in your studies.

The Three Earth Ages of the Bible

This is a condensed study of the three earth ages that I composed from several reliable sources one of which of course is the Bible. I have also put my two cents worth in. I don't know how many know but my educational background is in Biology and as a scientist this fits. I don't know how to put it any other way, but Biblically, theologically and scientifically all agree when you understand the three earth ages. It answers so many questions. Please excuse the format as I pasted and copied from emails that I had sent out. Genesis 1:1 In the beginning... When was the beginning? No one really knows, but many Christians say that the earth is only slightly older than 6000 years. Then science and archaeology say no that it is much older. How can science differ with God? It can't and it doesn't even though many Christians say things such as God created all of the plants fully mature that is why they seem older, or carbon dating is wrong, etc. etc. There are lots of excuses, however, these explanations are wrong. Carbon dating is very accurate. Science is extraordinarily accurate and time and time again has dated things to millions of years old. One or two mistakes is expected, but it has been used too many times. So....
Genesis1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Notice the period. A period means that this is a complete thought. This is finished and done, then another thought begins with the next verse. This creates a time gap. Time gaps are found in about 25 other places in the Bible. Here are a few:
Rev. 12:3-4 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.4) And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast down them to earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. The first part is when satan rebelled in the first earth age, the green is the birth of Christ.
The next two verses have a time gap also, see if you see it.
Math 10:23 But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come. The blue is in Christ's time. Notice the colon. A colon is used to join two complete thoughts, therefore like a period signifies a break. Not necessarily a break in time, but a break in thought. The part in green is speaking to the end or last generation because it speaks of the second advent.
Ok back to Genesis.
Gen 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. The first thing that I notice here is that God does not say that the waters are freshly created, He says that the waters were there. Now let's look at some of the Hebrew words in the order they are in the verse. These are all according to the Strong's concordance reference book which gives the Hebrew translations for the English words.
was - comes from the Hebrew word #1961 hayah which means to exist or ie. to become. So the earth became without form. That means that something with form already existed.
without form- comes from Hebrew word #8414 tohuw which means a desolation, to lie waste. You can't lay waste to something if there is nothing there.
void-comes from Hebrew word #922 bohuw which means to be empty, a vacuity ie an indistinguishable ruin. You can only ruin something that is whole or good to start with.
darkness-comes from Hebrew word #2822 choshek meaning literally the dark and figuratively sorrow, destruction, wickedness. I believe here it is being used by God both figuratively and literally. I believe that he took away the light literally and figuratively that he was saddened that he had to do so.
deep-comes from Hebrew word#8415 tehowm meaning an abyss as a surging mass of water, especially the deep as in the sea or subterranean waterways.
Then there is another period indicating a complete thought and in this instance a complete time.
Spirit of God is the Holy Spirit. We don't know how much time elapsed between the two sentences or periods. The first sentence is the end of the first earth age, in which we all existed in spiritual form and when satan rebelled. The second sentence is the beginning of the second earth age in which we now live.
Isaiah confirms that God did not create the earth without form and void, but that it became that way at some point.
Is. 45:18 For thus saith the Lord that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath establishedit, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the Lord; and there is none else.
Vain- looking at this word can create confusion in translation because it was translated from the hebrew word tohuw which we have seen means desolation or to lie waste. Tohuw is the word used on the original manuscript. Why it was translated differently I am not sure.
We do know that the destruction was complete, there was nothing left. So this cannot be confused with Noah's flood because there we know that Noah and his sons and their wives survived along with 2 of all the animals. Now let's go to Jeremiah.
Jer 4:22-27 for my people is foolish, they have not known me; the are sottish children, and they ahve none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.
23) I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light. The the earth was destroyed and empty and dark. This confirms that God is not speaking of Noah's flood because the earth was not empty nor dark during that flood. This is indeed speaking of the end of the first earth age.
24)I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly. Many theologians and scientists say that this explains why the earth rotates slightly off center of its axis. It is off center by about 23 degrees or so.
25)I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled. So again this cannot be Noah's flood because this destruction wiped out all men. During Noah's flood, Noah and his sons survived. I also do not believe that Noah's flood was a global flood, but that is another study for another time.
26) I beheld, and, lo the fruitful place was wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the Lord, and by his fierce anger. Remember the talk of the legend of the lost city of Atlantis. Well they have found roadways that they believe may belong to Atlantis on the ocean floor between Florida and Cuba. Why was God so angry? satan's rebellion and the rebellion of one third of all the angels.
27) For thus hath the Lord said, The whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end. God says here that he will give us another chance, thus this second earth age that we have now. God did not want to totally destroy one third of his children. The second earth age is so that we all have a chance at redeeming all the sin of ourselves through the blood of Christ. It is all in God's ultimate plan to give His children every opportunity to follow Him of their own free will and to have all knowledge available to make the wise decision. God is so good. He gave us another chance after the first earth age and in this one he sent His Son to die for us. All that He asks in return for all of this is that we follow Him of our own free will. To me this is so amazing! it brings tears to my eyes thinking of how much He has done for each one of us. At this point God put a veil between this earth age and the first so that we would not know which side we had chosen. In the third earth age we will have full knowledge of all three. Me personally, I am not sure if I am ready for that much knowledge. I think I may be totally heartbroken if I remember being on the wrong side. anyway....Let's go to second Peter for more verification of the three earth ages.
2Pet 3:5-13 for this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
6) Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water perished: This is the first earth age which was destroyed because of rebellion.
7) But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgement and perdition of ungodly men.
8)But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
9)The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness;but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. This is the second earth age in which we are now.
10) But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11)Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversations and godliness,
12)Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13)Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. These verses are the third earth age (heaven). When I was first learning of these things these verses in Peter sealed the deal for me. I was already pretty positive this was the truth, but this verified for me. Well, this pretty much does it for the three earth ages. Let's now look at Hebrews.
Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgement: God specifically says here that we are only to die once. This is the physical death of the body because we know that spiritual bodies return to the father. We also know from Corinthians that we do indeed have two bodies, spiritual and physical in this age.
1 Cor 15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body and there is a spiritual body. We see here the declaration of the two bodies.
So why were we not flesh in the first earth age. If we were flesh in the first earth age then our physical bodies would have died, and then we would die again in this earth age. That is reincarnation and is an abomination and a lie. So we can only die once. This tells me that we were in our spiritual bodies during the first earth age and when that age was destroyed our spirits returned to the Father. We see many times in the Bible when angels are allowed to do physical things. We also know that angels many times dined and conversed with the prophets of old. So being physical is possible for the spiritual. One example is in Psalms
Ps 78:24-25 And had rained down manna upon them to eat, and had given them of the corn of heaven.
25) Man did eat angels' food: he sent them meat to the full.
Now on to the archaeological.
We know that animal and marine life has been found dating to millions of years ago using carbon dating. However, no human remains have been found. The evidence that people were here has been found in pottery, cave paintings and such, but no actual remains of their physical bodies. Spiritual beings would not leave physical bodies. Now scientists like to say that "Lucy" was a pre-human or the first human. Lucy was an ape and nothing more. Lucy's footprint was like that of an ape. Where the transfer of body weight stayed on the outside of a foot in a type of rounded arc that goes through the little toe. They have found a human footprint, that looks like a human footprint of today, that dates to 10 million years ago. The transfer of weight is just like it is today for humans. From the heal along the outside across the ball of the foot and up to the big toe. Kind of a zig zag pattern. This to me is more evidence that spiritual beings, us, were here millions of years ago. Science likes to say that remains like Lucy's were predecessors of us. I say they are full of it. If evolution existed then more species of "transitional" species would be found. The truth is that there has not been found one single remains of a transitional species for anything. Many learned scientists have tried to come out and speak about this. They have been persecuted. Charles Darwin the father of the evolution theory said himself that it was "highly speculative". So if there are no actual physical remains of beings here on earth, then we could not have been here in physical bodies. There was no death, and physical bodies grow old and die, but spiritual ones do not. I hope this explains our spiritual forms in the first earth age. God Bless you in your studies.
