Grandmama's Potato Soup

This is a really rich and creamy soup sure to warm the heart.

Ingredients:
about 6 medium potatoes Peeled and cut into large cubes
2 tbls. flour
1 c. water
2 c. milk
butter to taste
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Boil the potatoes until they are mushy. Don't drain the water off of them just mush them up a bit leaving a few small bits and chunks of potato. Add butter and milk and stir well. Add the flour to the water, mix well and pour into the soup. season with salt and pepper. Cook on medium or medium high until the soup has thickened and has a creamy texture. Serve with grated cheese on top or by itself. You can have grilled cheese sandwiches on the side, fresh fruit or veggies, or garlic bread. We usually do garlic bread and celery and carrots sticks.
