Heirloom Veggie Seeds Company

I had previously recommended a company called Heirloom Veggie Seeds/Get Seeds to purchase heirloom seeds from. I no longer recommend them as it has been 6 weeks since I placed my order and paid for my seeds. I have not received my seeds, nor am I able to get a response from the company as to why I haven't received them. So buyer beware.

Update: I received my seeds yesterday and finally got an email from the company. I am still not sure that I would recommend ordering as they take so long, but at least they are not thieves or dishonest. They simply are slow, but I am very happy with my order.

Hi Kat,
Sorry you have trouble getting your seeds in..
I'm a first time heirloom seed buyer and purchased from Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds and had a great experience. I ordered a free catalog from them at www.rareseeds.com. It's not only full of wonderful seeds but the catalog is a joy to look at. So far, my lettuce, spinach, onion, broccoli, carrots, beets, etc. have all popped up and are doing beautifully.

Baker Creek is a good company. I have ordered other seeds from other companies so I still have seeds, but I am ticked off about my money and the lack of communication from this company. We have gotten seeds from Heirloom Acres and Tomato Bob, both of which have shipped promptly with quality seeds. Glad to hear yours are doing well. If the torrential downpours will ever stop we might be able to plant. At the rate we are getting rain on a regular basis, my seeds would be washed away at this point.
