A Little Introduction

I love my job. I can't stand boredom and that is one thing that I never get-bored! I take care of our little 10 acre homestead, homeschool, and keep our home neat and tidy. I am problably the most unconventional of the modern housewife. I suppose I have always been a bit unconventional. I grew up in the country and learned to love the country life. I learned frugality (the fine art of being cheap) from my dearly departed grandparents who survived quite well through the Depression years.Learning has always been a great passion of mine and I have especially applied this passion to my love of God, my Country, my Southern Heritage, and my lifestyle. Yes, being a homesteading wife and mother is a lifestyle. We walk to a different tune than most mother's and housewives and often feel a bit out of place. Most of have chosen this life and so don't mind feeling out of place, we actually like it. Some of us married into the lifestyle and don't quite know what to do with it. No matter though whether you are a city girl or a country girl there will be something on this blog for every wife and mother who shares my passion for learning. I hope you all enjoy sharing your future days here at Whisper Wind Farm with us. I look forward to sharing with ya'll. God Bless.

Your words could be me talking. Ever feel like you were born in the wrong century?

I most certainly do feel as if I were born in the wrong time period.
